Hurts performed their “Exile” album track, “Somebody to Die For”, for The Sun’s Biz Sessions. As the track is one of my easy favorites off their record, you can tell I was delighted they performed it, before even watching the video; I knew it would be good - and it is! It’s another amazing acoustic performance for which the guys had to strip the song down, which came out so beautifully. Theo does wonders with his divine vocals once again, making it seem like it’s music exclusively for the Gods. Express that emotion dude! All sorts of amazing. Thank you for this performance HURTS.

Kimberley Walsh showed off her sexy bod in Cosmopolitan’s BODY magazine latest issue. The former Girls Aloud bandmate looks amazing in the outtakes, it seems like Strictly Come Dancing has been just what she needed to get in perfect shape!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a Eurovision flashback post. When Greece and Eurovision are mentioned in one sentence, everyone thinks of Helena Paparizou and her glorious winning moment. On second thought though, there has only been one entry post-win that actually had potential to bring the contest in Greece and slay the entire Europe; and that has to be Kalomira with “Secret Combination”. From the very first moment the acts for 2008’s Greek final were announced, she was everyone’s favorite and managed to win the others effortlessly. Then, she went on to become Europe’s sweetheart in zero time with promo performances here and there and the final countdown till the grand final in Serbia. Kalomira was known as Greece’s sweet lil’ girl, but that completely changed ever since she got on the ESC stage; she was now a woman, grown-up, still sweet and innocent but with the sex appeal to seduce every male on the planet and a body to die for. She literally had that secret combination. First of all, the song was an uptempo pop track with lots of Greek elements but catchy as hell and easily a stand-out in that year’s contest. Her vocals had that extra cuteness, featuring her very own accent and a unique tone, especially crafted by Gods make pop music. She also looked fantastic, with a really toned, killer body and a ten-million-dollar smile never leaving her face. Add fancy colors -pink overload!-, choreography, smoke, an open book, an on-stage costume change and even more cuteness in the mix, and here you have a stunning performance filled with true brilliance. Unfortunately, Kalomira finished third that year, when everyone was rooting for her to get that first place and every Greek on the planet who felt her energy was confident she would win that fuckery. No one was really disappointed in her when she didn’t though, ‘cause you could tell she had done her absolute best to deliever such an incredible performance. Greeks were just mad at Europeans for not giving our girl the recognition she deserved. However, post-final, Kalomira went on to become a true Eurovision princess and to this day, during Greece’s performance at the finals, millions of people agree that she has to go back there. The Eurovision throne is definitely made for Kalomira to sit on and it’s waiting for her to go and get it sometime in the coming years. I doubt she will, but one can dream.

Cassie dropped a behind-the-scenes teaser for the music video of her Fabolous-assisted mixtape cut, “I Love It”. The clip finds the duo in some kind of an underground club, with lots of colorful lights, drinks, ladies, dancing, swagger and some beauty scenes of the part-time-model songstress. It all looks good but let’s wait till the full thing premieres sometime this week.

Another big mail came to day with nine physical copies of albums I didn’t have in a non-digital copy to this day. So with this one I got:
“The Wanted EP” (Special Edition) - The Wanted
“Battleground” - The Wanted
“Rated R” - Rihanna
“Born This Way” (Deluxe Edition) - Lady Gaga
“Endlessly” - Duffy
“Who You Are” (Platinum Edition) - Jessie J
“She Wolf” - Shakira
“Ms. Kelly” (Deluxe Edition) - Kelly Rowland
“Killer Love” (Repackaged Version) - Nicole Scherzinger
As I said, it’s mostly albums that have been out for a while now but I only got the physical copies now. I love me some bargains of different editions of albums that are way too expensive -not worth it- at the time they come out. I mean, I only paid for The Wanted’s EP at the regular cost and got the rest quite cheap. So yeah, that’s it; more in my collection, I’m happy, nothing left to say. Now you tell me if you like any of the ones I got, if you’re buying any albums soon or if you’ve already bought, what else I should buy etc, huh?

After performing “#thatPOWER” at every show on the planet, will.i.am brought the most remarkable performance of the song yet at the Billboard Music Awards. Well, he didn’t actually do much, except getting Justin Bieber on himself on stage instead of his hologram this time around. Robotic choreography and lots of smoke effects took place as the duo brought one of the most energetic performances of the song. Well it was good overall, but if I were JB, I wouldn’t attempt singing over my heavily autotuned backing track to be honest.

Candice Swanepoel is featured in June’s Interview Germany issue with a brand-new editorial and she’s serving some boobs realness! She’s so hot that I could actually spend the rest of my life locked in a room with her. Thank you Lord for creating such flaw-free human beings.

Well it’s been a while this has been out, but I’m posting it just now. The Wanted shared some behind-the scenes footage from their music video shoot for “Walks Like Rihanna”, giving us an inside look at the set of the clip. In the visual we see the guys rehearsing some piece of choreography and acting silly, joking around and having fun, as they recreate iconic videos of some of the greatest boybands in the history of pop music. It’s nice to see the fame and success hasn’t taken it all away from them and they’re still having fun.
